I am trying to install the factory Clarion Double Din stereo into a buddies car and the factory wiring has been cut, so I am trying to figure which wire plugs into what on the back of the stereo itself.. Clarion offers a diverse product line of car radios, catering to different budgets and preferences. From single-DIN to double-DIN models, their car radios come in various sizes to fit different dashboards.
Unfortunately Modifry does not make a plug and play harness for Clarion head units, so I'm stuck wiring my own. I've gone through my Helms manual and have a decent understanding of the OEM side of the harness.. Be particularly careful where you route the wires. Keep them well away from the engine, exhaust pipe, etc. Heat may damage the wires. If the fuse should blow, check that the wiring is correct. If it is, replace the fuse with a new one with the same amperage rating as the original one.
