The 957 isn't radically different from the popular RIM 950. They both use the same BlackBerry service, which provides wireless e-mail access, and they run the same software.. The RIM (BlackBerry) 957 Wireless Handheld (Model number: R957M-2-5) is almost identical to the 5810 and 5820 but was launched two years earlier and used the Mobitex network rather than the GSM-based technology.
