Factory Reset button: Look for an object like a pen or a paper clip. On the bottom of the extender, look for the Factory Reset button. Press and hold the reset button using a paper clip or pen and wait for at least 5 seconds or until the Device to Extender LED blinks amber. Plug in your extender. Wait for the Power LED to stop blinking and become solid green or blue. This can take 1 to 2 minutes. If the Power LED does not light up, press the Power or On/Off button. Locate your extender's Reset or Factory Reset button. The button is usually located on the extender's side or bottom panel behind a small hole.. E.g. A reset restores the settings to what they were when the unit shipped from the factory. Reset the Netgear range extender to default state if it shows strange symptoms.
