The Sony PS-X600 is a fully-auto turntable with direct-drive motor system and Biotracer electronically controlled tonearm. The unit features auto-record size selection, electronic stylus force and anti-skating adjustment, synchronised operation with Sony cassette decks, a muting system and magnedisc servo system.
A recently acquired Sony PS-X600 (google it) had blown it out of the water. The servo arm allows increasingly precise tracking, and allows benefits in greater stereo separation from a constantly monitored and corrected antiskate and reduced feedback (up to -3db) of when the stylus is making its way up and down edge warps, or poorer pressings..
