Yamaha AS500 Integrated Amplifier Photo 4284449 US Audio Mart

"Kew"-man shared this review and bench test with me for the Yamaha A-S500. It's very impressive (in my 'non' Audiophile mind). This should put to silence, for good, all the haters & skeptics of this "fine" integrated amplifier by Yamaha. In my "beginner" mindset, there needs to be more, many more, of these bench test reviews.. Other than some improved connectivity for ipod, etc. and a sub-out, in what way was the Yamaha AS500 any different from the internal structure of the AX-497 that preceeded it? I've seen internal shots of both and I can't tell. Both have symmetrical heat sinks, same transformer and two 10,000 mf caps, and power ratings, etc.?
